THE MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR: Shakespeare’s uproarious battle of the sexes! Feast on a hilariously magnificent treat of monogamously artful deceit: The Merry Wives of Windsor. You’ll meet the rotund rascal Sir John Falstaff and the wise wives of Windsor in one of Shakespeare’s most raucous comedies. With an ego as big as his voracious appetite, Falstaff conspires to woo the two wealthiest married ladies in town and pocket their riches. However, Mistress Ford and Mistress Page devise a scheme of their own to teach him a well-deserved lesson in Wooing 101.

ALWAYS… PATSY CLINE: A musical celebration of the country legend! Enjoy the touching true story of Patsy Cline’s friendship with a fan, Louise Seger, which started in 1961 and continued until the renowned country star’s premature death. Told through Cline’s music, this humorous and heartfelt tribute features 27 songs and many of her unforgettable hits, such as “Crazy,” “I Fall to Pieces,” “Sweet Dreams” and “Walking After Midnight.”

Don’t miss The SpongeBob Musical, taking over Reno Little Theater this Summer! This zany and high-energy stage show follows our favorite yellow sponge and his pals in Bikini Bottom as they race to save their underwater home from impending doom. A volcano is about to blow its top and wreak havoc, but SpongeBob and his best buddy Patrick, Sandy the squirrel, and other quirky characters, set off on a hilarious and often surreal adventure to stop the eruption and save their town. Along the way, they face obstacles, meet unexpected allies, and burst into musical numbers that will have you tapping your feet and laughing out loud. DOG DAYS OF SUMMER DANCE FESTIVAL

Showcasing several unique dance companies across Northern Nevada, Dog Days of Summer Dance Festival is a cultural exhibition of movement that’s sure to impress! The three-day event takes place outdoors at the Pioneer Center, the perfect venue for a summer outdoor event. Each night, brings an exceptional performance by the talents of the featured guest artist, NYC dancer/choreographer Haley Davis. But that’s not all! In addition to the splendid dance performances in store, the SPCA will feature a fashion show starring their adorable shelter dogs and wonderful volunteers, hence the event’s name. If you’re a fan of improvised comedy, these guys are the best-of-the-best! The cast of the Emmy-nominated show, “Whose Line is it Anyway,” presents to Reno one evening of audience-driven hilarity at Whose Live Anyway? Grammatically, it should be called “Who’s Live Anyway.” LOL. I digress… All audience members are encouraged to participate in the creation of a unforgettable night of entertainment. Once a year, the Atlantis West parking lot is transformed into a wonderland of vibrant color, optical illusions, and utter fantasy. 150 artists are to thank for their talented contributions to this event, and all are welcome to attend the Reno Chalk Art and Music Festival. It’s a beloved community event that has grown in popularity over the last several years. Adults can enjoy a variety of craft beers and seltzers, meandering through the aisles of exceptional art and shopping from vendors selling unique, artsy items. Children are invited to burn some pent-up energy in bouncy houses and create their very own masterpieces, inspired by the skilled chalk artists competing for cash prizes in several different categories. For nearly 40 years, music enthusiasts, musicians, and volunteers have gathered to share the culture of Bluegrass in historic Washoe Valley for a weekend of entertainment and fun… and they want to share it with you! Bowers Bluegrass Festival hosts several local, regional, and nationally recognized Bluegrass groups and vendors selling “old-timey” collectibles.
