THE MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR: Shakespeare’s uproarious battle of the sexes! Feast on a hilariously magnificent treat of monogamously artful deceit: The Merry Wives of Windsor. You’ll meet the rotund rascal Sir John Falstaff and the wise wives of Windsor in one of Shakespeare’s most raucous comedies. Showcasing several unique dance companies across Northern Nevada, Dog Days of Summer Dance Festival is a cultural exhibition of movement that’s sure to impress! The three-day event takes place outdoors at the Pioneer Center, the perfect venue for a summer outdoor event. Each night, brings an exceptional performance by the talents of the featured guest artist, NYC dancer/choreographer Haley Davis. But that’s not all! In addition to the splendid dance performances in store, the SPCA will feature a fashion show starring their adorable shelter dogs and wonderful volunteers, hence the event’s name.
