SUBTRONIC: ANTIFRACTAL TOUR
SUNDAY, JANUARY 22, 2023 (6 pm) RENO EVENTS CENTERGot Dubstep?? Since 2013, DJ Jesse Kardon, AKA Subtronic, has combined hard-hitting mashups and exclusive mixes to bring an unbelievable dubstep sound that will bring you to your feet. In case you’ve never heard of dubstep and mashups, allow me to explain what they are. Actually, allow Wikipedia to explain… “Dubstep is a genre emerged as a UK garage offshoot that blended 2-step rhythms and sparse dub production, as well as incorporating elements of broken beat, grime, and drum and bass. In the United Kingdom, the origins of the genre can be traced back to the growth of the Jamaican sound system party scene in the early 1980s.” And a mashup is a “creative work, usually a song, created by blending two or more pre-recorded songs, typically by superimposing the vocal track of one song seamlessly over the instrumental track of another and changing the tempo and key where necessary.” Sometimes you just need to hear to to understand, so click HERE for Subtronic’s “Griztronics.” Purchase tickets for a chest-pounding show on January 22 in Reno at Ticketmaster.com.

When you do make it up to the mountain, you can check out the up-to-date snow conditions and trail reports at your favorite resorts below by clicking on their logos:
