STREET VIBRATIONS SPRING RALLY

RENO’S NEON LINE, LAKE TAHOE, CARSON CITY and VIRGINIA CITY, NVVroom! Vroom! Let’s go for a RIDE!! Street Vibrations® Spring Rally kicks off the riding season in Northern Nevada! The leather and lace, the rumbling of the streets, the elaborately drawn tattoos… The biker culture converges on our local streets JUNE 3-5 for one of the biggest motorcycle rallies in the US with more than 50,000 participants expected to raise hell in Northern Nevada. You’ll be in “Hog Heaven” when you go “VIP” for this event! Registered VIP’s get an official t-shirt, ride pin and hog tag, poker runs, scavenger hunts, VIP parties, ride-in-shows, slow bike races and secured VIP parking. RENO-TAHOE ODYSSEY: RELAY RUN ADVENTURE
FRIDAY, JUNE 3 – SATURDAY, JUNE 4, 2022
BEGINNING AND ENDING @ WINGFIELD PARK, THROUGH LAKE TAHOE, VIRGINIA CITY
If you have the stamina and endurance to run at all hours of the day and night, and have a fun group of friends who like to do the same, you may want to participate in the Reno-Tahoe Odyssey!  This very popular, 178-mile relay run that is divided into 36 segments, begins in Downtown Reno at Wingfield Park and ends at Idlewild Park, making a counter-clockwise circle around North, West, and South Tahoe, into Genoa and Carson City, up to Virginia City, then back down to Reno.  Teams made up of of 7-12 runners will be spotted during the ’round-the-clock 2-day event following teammates in decorated vans with spunky themes.  If you’re only up for a portion of this beast-of-a-relay, you may also choose to run the Capital Odyssey or the Comstock Odyssey.  For more details and registration, please visit RenoTahoeOdyssey.com.

RENO STREET FOOD: “FOOD TRUCK FRIDAY”
EVERY FRIDAY, JUNE 10 THROUGH AUGUST 26, 2022 (4-9 pm)

IDLEWILD PARKNationally recognized as “One of America’s Top 5 Largest Weekly Food Truck Events” by Travel Channel is Reno Street Food, AKA Food Truck Friday!  Expected to be better than ever, this hugely popular, weekly food-lover’s event now has over 45 culinary, craft beer, wine and spirits vendors and a new and improved layout at Idlewild Park.  June 10 is the kickoff to the food truck season, with local band Blues Haven performing their upbeat, danceable blues music!  Remember to bring your Tommy Bahama chairs &/or beach blanket to claim your spot on the grass, and a blankie to keep you cozy when the temperature drops.  For a list of all the trucks at the event weekly, visit the Reno Street Food Facebook Page.

RENO PHILHARMONIC presents DISNEY IN CONCERT: MAGICAL MUSIC FROM THE MOVIES

RENO LITTLE THEATER – MIDTOWN RENO

Enjoy and evening or matinee performance at one of Reno’s longest running theaters that continues to inspire, entertain and strengthen our community since 1935.  Reno Little Theater tells the story of Pablo, a high-powered lawyer, and doctoral candidate Tania, his very pregnant wife, who realize the American dream when they purchase a house next door to community stalwarts Virginia and Frank. But a disagreement over a long-standing fence line soon spirals into an all-out war of taste, class, privilege, and entitlement.
