SUBLIME WITH ROME
THURSDAY, JUNE 13 (7:30 pm)

GRAND SIERRA RESORT – GRAND THEATRE

Blend a little Reggae rock and alternative rock, a touch of hip hop, and a dash of ska punk and punk rock, and what do you get?  Sublime with Rome. The band is a collaboration between former bassist of the band Sublime, Eric Wilson, and singer/guitarist Rome Ramirez.  The group was initially known as Sublime back in 1988.  Sadly, in 1996, Sublime’s lead singer Bradley Nowell died of a heroine overdose.  Profoundly affected by that tragic event, Wilson never considered performing the group’s music live without their frontman. More than a decade later however, he met young singer/guitarist Rome Ramirez, and the Sublime flame was once again reignited. You’ll likely recognize them in familiar songs like “Santeria,” “What I Got” and “Badfish.”  For more about Sublime with Rome, and to purchase tickets in advance, visit GrandSierraResort.com.
