Want to get your kiddos off of technology and into fresh air this weekend?  The Rotary Club of Sparks hosts the 17th Annual Kids’ Free Fishing Day at the Sparks Marina.  Children of all ages are invited to spend the morning casting their poles in hopes of a great catch!  Fishing poles, bait and coaching for those who need it are provided, along with a little food, water and shade!  Food trucks will also be on-site to fill hungry bellies.  And a variety of other activities are offered in case the fish aren’t biting.  And did I mention that the event is free?  Also, no fishing license is required.  FYI… it’s also free fishing day in ALL of Nevada, so if you don’t want to fish at Sparks Marina, adults and children can throw a line free anywhere!  For more information about the Rotary fishing events this week, please visit KOLOTV.com.
