The Weekend Warrior (March 19-??)

WELCOME TO

THE WEEKEND WARRIOR

So you’ve been told you need to stay home to protect yourself and others from the spread of COVID-19.  Concerts, comedy shows, restaurants, etc. are canceled and closed.  While you’re stuck at home, you might as well make the most of it!  This week’s WEEKEND WARRIOR is all about things you can do while you exercise “social distancing.” This will be the LAST WEEKEND WARRIOR until COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.  Stay healthy!

RECONNECT WITH YOUR FAMILY
Have you noticed that life has turned into a bit of a rat-race lately?  As strange as the Coronavirus halt of normal activity has been, to some degree, it’s blessing in disguise on many levels.  It’s the one global event that is slowing us ALL down, and a good opportunity to reconnect with our families.  For “3 Great Tips for Reconnecting with Your Family,” visit PsychCentral.com.

ORGANIZE YOUR CLOSET
How long has it been since you’ve done a sweep of your closet to make it clean and clutter free?  Perhaps it’s time to yank those clothes you haven’t worn for several years, and drop them at a donation center (if the donation center is open), or just organize your wardrobe.  Visit RealSimple.com to learn about the “10 Secrets Only Professional Closet Organizers Know.”

MAKE A LIGHT SHADE WITH YOUR EXTRA TOILET PAPER
Yep… If you’re one of those who went out to clear the shelves of Costco, you can do more with your toilet paper than you originally thought!  You can actually create this very cool pendant light shade with that Charmin surplus.  Visit MyLifeOnCraft.com to learn how, and maybe pick up some other fun craft ideas while on this cool site.

CURL UP WITH A GOOD BOOK
Which 2020 books are flying off the shelves?  Visit Elle.com to find out!  Since Amazon isn’t delivering “non-essential” items, it’s looking like you’ll need to utilize Apple Books, Google Books, or any other e-book app that suits your needs.  Or rediscover a favorite from your own library.  Grab your coziest blanket and settle in for a good read!

Curious about what real estate is available for sale in Northern Nevada?  Check out the active inventory on one of the best real estate search engine available.  Set yourself up for a quick search.  But if you want to delve a little deeper and more specific (i.e., certain age of construction, single vs. two-story, etc.) then create an account, and I’ll get you headed in the right direction. Better than Zillow, you actually see what’s active, not pending!  Visit DeniseHallerbach.RealScout.Me to get started!
